Sakyasen Mittra has been a media professional for over 40 years now dabbing in all the three verticals of Journalism, Corporate Communications and Public Relations. He has worked for reputed newspapers including Aajkaal, Newstime, the New Indian Express and Orissa POST. As Corporate Communications Head at the Mani Group and VISA Group, he has handled various mega events like the launch of the Mani Square Mall in 2007 and VISA Steel’s IPO in 2005. In his role as Head of Media Relations he has handled and managed a number of high-profile clients including Coco Cola, AirTel, Mercedes and the Indian Chamber of Commerce. His other strengths include organizing press conferences, handling of events and crisis management.

A confident and optimistic person, a thorough professional and a post-graduate in PR and Communications from Jadavpur University, he has 20 years of working experience in the field. He has worked with leading PR organizations of repute and has handled a collage of clients from various sectors effectively strategizing and planning for their communication needs. In his earlier stints with Vaishnavi Corporate Communications and Integral PR he was actively committed to client servicing and handled marque clients such as Tata Teleservices, TCS, Tata Power, Samsung, HCL Infosystems, Emami Limited, Star Group and so on. Over his professional career, Sreeraj has developed skills in content development and media research. His passion towards music lead him to write songs and occasionally compose them.

The founder of the firm Mr. Shiladitya Chaudhury started the company after ten years of successful stint in Public Relations. He has worked with several leading international and national conglomerates including Daewoo Motors in India.

As a successful entrepreneur, he has brought in many innovations and his vast experience has contributed to the rapid expansion of Sagittarius Communications. He also has the merit of working closely with many eminent personalities which includes the former Lok Sabha Speaker Sri Somnath Chatterjee during his tenure as the chairman, West Bengal Development Corporation. He has partnered with home grown entrepreneurs to create reputed brands which are currently the leaders in their respective categories.

A connoisseur of food from his heart, his passion towards gourmet cuisine gave birth to two of the leading restaurant brands, Oudh 1590 and Chapter 2. An avid wildlife photographer, Shiladitya has travelled extensively across the globe capturing rare moments and his photos are a big draw in the city wildlife photography exhibitions. He is also the governing body member of Nature Environment And Wildlife Society, popularly known as (NEWS), and the associate editor of Environ, the widely circulated wildlife magazine of the country. He is also a Guest Columnist with The Telegraph. As an accomplished music director, Mr. Shiladitya Chaudhury also composed for many movies and music albums. His passion for music lead to launch of Ministry Of Muzik, a YouTube music channel that produces and promotes all kinds of music across all languages.
